One of Iraq’s most iconic monuments, the Ziggurat of Ur once joined earth to heaven. Today it endures as a testament to the nation’s long history of innovation. It still towers above the desert, though its foundations are weakening. The Ur Conservation Project is dedicated to stabilizing and conserving this monument, ensuring its survival for future generations.
